Swimming Lessons (Group and Individual)
One to one swimming tuition
Whatever your level, our ASA qualified Coaches can help you become the swimmer you want to be. Whether you’re a novice swimmer or a seasoned tri-athlete we can help you to develop your stroke technique or enhance your fitness with tailor made aquatic tuition.

Children's Lessons (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday):
These will run 4-week courses, where people can book on to a set day and time (e.g Monday 16:00 every week for a 4-week period).
16:00-16:30 Non-swim (Stage 1+2)
16:30-17:00 Beginners (Stage 3+4)
17:00-17:30 Swimmers (Stage 5+6)
17:30-18:00 Stroke Improvement (Stage 7+)
Class size: Up to 10 students, with a teacher to pupil ratio of 1:6
Cost: £20 for a 4-week course

Adult's Lessons (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday):
These classes will be running from 18:00-18:30 and gives adults the opportunity to develop their swim technique.
Every Tuesday 06:30am – 07:15am
Ran by our Lido Swim Master, Anthony, these sessions are designed to be a coaching class where people can follow a session plan and receive specialist technique development. This is ideal for people who are looking to develop for a triathlon or swimming event, or who want to improve their stroke.
Time: 06:30-08:30 (drop in when you like)
Cost: £4 Members PAYG / £6.50 Non-Members PAYG (can purchase a block of 5 sessions for: £15 Members / £28 non-members)

Parent & Toddler Swimming Sessions
Designed to make parents and toddlers comfortable in the water, and give tips to help young children get ready for swimming lessons.
The sessions are hosted by our fabulous resident Swim Teachers Anthony and Joe.
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Ages: 6 months to 3 years.
Cost: £4 Members / £6.50 Non-Members (can purchase a block of 5 sessions for: £15 Members / £28 Non-Members)
Payment method: Online or Till
Each session is for a maximum of 8 parents.
Lido Fitness Camp
Lido Fitness Camp is brought to you by Katie and Neil Jones of Fitness Troop who have been running boot camps in the local area for ten years. Prior to this, Neil was in the forces for 12 years. Their combined knowledge and expertise makes this class a must!Days: Tuesdays

Yoga classes for all abilities.
On sunny days classes are held on the lawn but if it’s a wet morning the class takes refuge under the verandas so you can be dry and warm as you downward dog.
Days: Mondays and Saturdays

The Rookies Lifeguarding course is being run by our team of experienced coaches and swimming instructors. Young people aged 8-14 have the chance to learn invaluable first aid, personal survival and lifeguarding skills and techniques.
There are 3 award levels with bronze, silver and gold being taught this summer.
Course 1 – dates tbc
Course 2 – dates tbc
Pre-Requisite: Comfortably swim 100m continually unaided
Application must be in before: 28th July for Course 1 and 11th August for Course 2
Course 3 – dates tbc
Course 4 – dates tbc
Pre-Requisite: Comfortably swim 150m continually unaided
Application must be in before: 4th Aug for Course 3 and 18th Aug for Course 4
Course 5 – dates tbc
Pre-Requisite: Comfortably swim 200m continually unaided
Sandford Parks Lido is an IQL Approved Training Centre for lifeguard training including the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) which all pool staff must undertake to work at the facility.
Throughout the season the lido hosts a number of NPLQ training courses. These are typically a week of training with an assessment at the end. Details of what the course entails can be found at the Royal Lifesaving Society website – www.rlss.org.uk
